ReplyDeleteHi, I object to you using OUR company logo as your Facebook icon. I am the MD of VE (UK) and I own the rights to the logo. I have not given permission for it to be used and no one has asked for permission, which I would not allow, it is our company logo. I trust you will use an alternative logo for your own design and confirm you have ceased to use our logo. I would add that if you do not respond I would need to refer the matter to Facebook, however, I hope you respond to my request and cease using it, Thanks, Norrie Kerr, MD, VE (UK).
ReplyDeleteSince I posted the message on facebook, I have spoken with our lawyers. There is a definite case of "Passing Off" with your company using our logo. So I have been searching the details of your company and have passed your details to them.
ReplyDeleteHopefully you will respond favourably and use your own logo and pay for it as I have done. Stealing someone else's logo and altering it is illegal, no matter what country you are in.
I look forward to a prompt response and hopefully we can resolve this before it gets too serious.
